Visit Vitamont factories by following the path of organic apples, harvested on our farmers trees. Located in Monflanquin, in the heart of South-West, Vitamont presses and bottles organic juices since 1985.
1 – Vitamont
Welcome to our factory, near the bastide of Monflanquin.
2 – Delivery
30 tonnes of apples are delivered directly from one of our organic farmers.
3 – Unloading
The apples are poured into a tank to be washed.
4 – A flood of apples
30 tons of apples of about 150g, which makes how many apples in the pit?
5 – Rinsing
It’s time for a shower before entering the factory, via a conveyor belt.
6 – Pressing
The apples are squeezed through a piston press: on one hand we have the juice extract, on the other hand it’s the apple pomace.
7 – The apple pomace
It’s a 100% organic material, offered to locals farmers to be used as a fertiliser.
8 – Bottling
Bottles are filled in only one minute before joining the sealing machine.
